Description

In clinical imaging it is often necessary to calibrate images against a known scale visually embedded in the image. Typically a user can draw a ruler over a calibration scale captured with the image (when not supplied in the header like in DICOM primary capture images) and can then optionally specify the scale and units for the drawn ruler line taking into account horizontal and vertical dimensions when pixels are anisotropic—two rulers, one for horizontal and one for vertical. Note that my images are isotropic and would only require one ruler drawn along a single scale. Would it be possible to add such functionality?
