Shortcuts in menu

Description

The accelerators (eg. &Open) in dropdown menu entries are very often conflicting with predefined or custom keyboard shortcuts; the following keys are already single key shortcuts and cannot be used as accelerators because the shortcuts have priority:

Translators cannot  be aware of this, therefor I would propose to eliminate all accelerators for menu entries where already default shortcuts exists for, or get rid of all accelerators in submenus.

Hi,

I have noticed this odd behavior too - I would assume the mnemonic to be bound if the menu is opened. I will have a closer look why this is not the case anymore...
